The Problem

A Colorado Springs homeowner preparing to sell their home discovered a 14-inch section of carpet in the living room that had been torn and frayed — likely from a furniture leg catching the fibers over years of use. The damage was directly in the main traffic path and visible the moment you walked in the front door. A flooring contractor quoted $3,200 for full room replacement.

Our Solution

We assessed the damage and confirmed the rest of the carpet was in excellent condition — only the damaged section needed attention. Using a matching remnant from the homeowner's closet, we cut a precise patch, matched the pile direction exactly, and heat-seamed it using professional seaming tape and a seaming iron. The patch was then groomed to blend the fiber direction with the surrounding carpet.

The Results

  • Patch is invisible under normal viewing conditions
  • Homeowner saved $2,900 vs. full replacement quote
  • Home sold within 3 weeks of repair at full asking price
  • Total job time: 2.5 hours

"I was sure I needed new carpet before listing. Nate came out, looked at it, and told me he could fix it. I honestly cannot find the patch — and my realtor said the same thing."

The Problem

A military family returning to their Fountain home after a 2-year deployment found the property had been rented to tenants with three large dogs. Multiple rooms had severe pet urine contamination — the odor was detectable from the front door. UV light inspection revealed contamination covering approximately 60% of the living room carpet and significant spots in two bedrooms. The padding was saturated in the worst areas.

Our Solution

We performed a full UV light inspection to map all contaminated areas. In the living room, we pulled back the carpet, replaced the saturated padding, sealed the subfloor with an antimicrobial sealant, and reinstalled the carpet. We then applied professional-grade enzyme treatment to all contaminated carpet areas with a 30-minute dwell time, followed by hot water extraction. A second enzyme treatment pass was applied to the most severe areas.

The Results

  • Odor eliminated — confirmed by homeowner and independent inspection
  • Carpet saved in all three rooms — no replacement needed
  • Padding replaced in living room only
  • Subfloor sealed and protected
  • Family moved back in within 48 hours

"We were devastated when we came home. Nate was honest with us about what could be saved and what couldn't. The smell is completely gone. We're so relieved we didn't have to replace everything."

The Problem

A Monument homeowner returned from a weekend ski trip to find a burst pipe had flooded their finished basement. Approximately 800 square feet of carpet was saturated, along with the padding and portions of the drywall. The water had been standing for approximately 36 hours. The homeowner's insurance company was involved.

Our Solution

We responded within 3 hours of the call. Emergency water extraction removed standing water from the carpet and subfloor. We pulled back the carpet, removed and disposed of the saturated padding, and set up commercial air movers and dehumidifiers. Moisture readings were taken throughout the subfloor and lower drywall. We coordinated with the homeowner's insurance adjuster, providing documentation of all affected areas and moisture readings. After 72 hours of drying, we installed new padding and reinstalled the original carpet (which had been dried and treated). A final moisture check confirmed all readings were within acceptable range.

The Results

  • Original carpet saved — no replacement required
  • Subfloor dried to below 12% moisture content
  • No mold growth detected at final inspection
  • Insurance claim fully documented and supported
  • Basement fully restored within 5 days

"Coming home to a flooded basement was a nightmare. Nate's team was there fast, kept us informed every step of the way, and worked directly with our insurance company. The basement looks exactly like it did before."

The Problem

A Colorado Springs homeowner with 6-year-old carpet had developed significant ripples and buckles throughout the home — living room, hallway, master bedroom, and two secondary bedrooms. The carpet had been installed by a builder using a knee kicker only (no power stretcher), and the insufficient original tension had gradually given way. The ripples were a trip hazard and the carpet was wearing unevenly along the ridges.

Our Solution

We assessed all five rooms and confirmed the carpet itself was in excellent condition — the problem was entirely tension-related. Using a professional power stretcher, we restretched all five rooms, working from the center of each room outward to the tack strips. Transition strips were removed and reinstalled where needed. The entire job was completed in a single day.

The Results

  • All ripples and buckles eliminated in all 5 rooms
  • Carpet restored to like-new appearance
  • Trip hazard eliminated
  • Homeowner saved $8,500 vs. full replacement quote
  • Expected to last the remaining life of the carpet (8+ years)

"I had three different flooring companies tell me I needed new carpet. Nate told me the carpet was fine — it just needed restretching. He was right. It looks brand new."

The Problem

A Pueblo homeowner with 15-year-old ceramic tile in the kitchen and two bathrooms had grout that had turned from its original light gray to near-black from years of accumulated soil, grease, and mildew. Standard mopping had no effect. The homeowner had tried multiple store-bought grout cleaners without success and was considering retiling.

Our Solution

We applied a professional alkaline pre-treatment to break down the grease and organic buildup in the grout lines. After a 10-minute dwell time, we used a high-pressure rotary cleaning tool to agitate and extract the contamination from the grout pores. A second pass with a neutralizing rinse restored the pH balance. After drying, we applied a penetrating grout sealer to protect against future staining.

The Results

  • Grout restored to near-original light gray color
  • Mildew and organic buildup fully removed
  • Grout sealed for ongoing protection
  • Homeowner saved $4,200 vs. retiling quote
  • Kitchen and bathrooms completed in a single visit

"I thought the grout was just permanently stained after 15 years. I almost retiled the whole kitchen. This looks better than I thought possible — I wish I had called years ago."
